Identifying crime hot spot areas via clustering spatio-temporal data is an emerging research area. In this paper, dynamic clustering algorithms for spatio-temporal crime data are proposed to detect hot crime spots in Kuwait. Kuwait governorates are taken as case study: the capital, Hawalli, Al-Ahmady, Al-Jahra, Al-Farawaniya, and Mubarak Al-kebeer. In addition, different crime types are considered: act of discharge and humiliation, adultery, aggravated assault, bribery, counter fitting, drugs, embezzlement, fight or resist employee on job, forging of official documents, weapon, robbery and attempted robbery, suicide and attempted suicide, and bank theft. Applying Random subspace classification to those clustered data, 98% accuracy and 99.4% ROC are obtained, having precision (98.7%), recall (98.4%), and F1 (98.28%).}, keywords = {Spatio-temporal data mining, hot spot detection, intelligent crime mining, random subspace classification, and clustering}, url = {https://jesaun.journals.ekb.eg/article_111010.html}, eprint = {https://jesaun.journals.ekb.eg/article_111010_e54373ac24385178e28d881a29facae0.pdf} } @article { author = {EL-Saady, Gaber and Ibrahim, El-Nobi A. and Ahmed, Mostafa}, title = {OPTIMAL PHOTOVOLTAIC WATER PUMPING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE UNDER DIFFERENT OPERATING CONDITIONS}, journal = {JES. However, this power generation cannot supply constant electric power output andsometimes cause the imbalance between supply and demand. To alleviate the mentioned problem, anumber of Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH) and Electric Vehicles (EV) are used as new controlequipment for Load Frequency Control (LFC) in order to suppress the frequency fluctuation caused bysuch a large amount of renewable energy sources. However, Due to the system uncertainties such assystem parameters variation, the conventional controllers which are designed without taking systemuncertainties into account in the controller design may lose the control effect and fail to damp thefrequency deviation. This will affect the quality of supply and may deteriorate the system stability. This paper proposes, A New load frequency control (LFC) using the coefficient diagram method(CDM) technique in the presence of variable solar power & thermal power have been presented. TheCDM technique has been designed such that the effect of the uncertainty due to governor and turbineparameters variation and variable solar power & load disturbance is reduced. Haulage drift instability could lead to serious consequences such as: production delay, damage to equipment, loss of reserves and high operational cost. The goal of this paper is the performance stability evaluation of mine haulage drifts with respect to mining sequence adopting different stochastic methods of analysis. A two-dimensional, elastoplastic, finite difference code (FLAC 2D) is used for this study. Stochastic analysis; adopting Point-Estimate Methods (PEMs), Monte-Carlo Simulation (MCS) and Random Monte-Carlo Simulation (RMCS) are then employed with the numerical modelling to tackle the inherent uncertainty associated with rockmass properties. Then, the probability of instability at last mining step (e.g., after excavating stope 3) is estimated for haulage drift side walls and roof. The stability indicators are defined in terms of displacement, stress and the extent of yield zones, which are adopted as a basis for assessing the performance stability of haulage drift. These interfaces and the resulting visual unit will reflect the imageof the physical environment of the city. The key problem for research pertaining to many of thebuildings in Holy Makkah is due to their lack of architectural composition، and the lack of harmonybetween the facades، resulting in visual clutter، and affecting the appearance of the city، and evencausing her to lose her urban and architectural qualities. This research aims to study and analyze the facades of some buildings to highlight the visual clutterand try to suggest appropriate solution that contribute the reduction of visual clutter. The research is based on the descriptive/analytical method. It employs visual study of facades ofbuildings in Makkah which were chosen from one of the main streets in Makkah، the Azizia Streetand a visual analysis of the buildings located on the north side of the street، specifically from Sidqiroad to King Khalid road. In addition، The researchers used questionnaires to explore the views ofarchitect regarding building facades. The research found through the description and analysis the building facades that lack harmony،resulting in a visual clutter. The researchers conclude that visual clutter is due to the lack of designguidelines that، control and direct of the design process.
