Abstract
In every society there is a set of activities and ideas that can be placed in total under proposition living life, the primary focus of this living is house or shelter, which serves as a place for living, frequent periodic activities that need to place, and house is the primary receptacle containing human life and his family in various activities.
There is no doubt that there is a correlation between the form of house, and the way of life in the family home, and has proved that both Le Corbusier and Hassan Fathy in many studies that highlighted the relationship of ancient and modern family house. and affect the social and economic situation of the family directly on the form and type of housing, which we touch of varying forms of housing within the community, but extends to the dwelling of spaces and services, in addition to furniture and other contents.
And house in Libya – like others – not so far removed from all that, the family was and still is one of the most important influences on the evolution of form and substance house And the change in the output of this rapid sequence one of the main reasons for the change and evolution of the dwelling
And here came the importance of studying the Libyan house and to find out its suitability for changing Libyan family this age, through the review stages of change for the Libyan house and factors affecting this change and evolve, and examine the evolution of the Libyan family to see how they affect the change in traditional Libyan house design to modern house, right up to results and recommendations of this research.
