Abstract
A novel design of all optical JK Flip Flop will be presented in this paper based on 2 Dimension photonic crystals (PhC). The overall total size of the designed JK flip flop is equal to 80 μm × 40 μm of 2D square lattice photonic crystals with a refractive index equal to 3.4 in air. The band gab is approximately equal a/λ= 0.321 to a/λ= 0.441 corresponding to the wavelength range 1550 nm
